About
Welcome to Bridge Dyslexia!
I'm Victoria Benn and I started Bridge Dyslexia and Educational Coaching from Tiverton in Mid Devon. I am a qualified teacher with over twenty year's experience in local authority schools, the independent sector and high attaining international schools. I live in Devon with my husband, and have two grown up children currently at University.
My background spans teaching across the primary age range; SENCo; Lead teacher in the Speech Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) Centre, North Devon ; SLCN outreach across primary schools in Devon and International SEND provision. As an experienced SENCo and hold the PGCert NASENCo Award. My interest in child development and learning led to gaining a Master's degree in the Psychology of Education, accredited by the British Psychological Society, from Bristol University.
In addition I am ICF accredited in Coaching Foundation and level 1, alongside a specialism in Dyslexia Coaching.
I am an accredited Specialist Dyslexia Teacher (ADG) with Dyslexia Action : 6257.

I hold a current enhanced DBS certificate: 001971278077.
Bridge Educational Coaching
Bridge Educational Coaching provides specialist support informed by education, psychology, and a deep understanding of children's individual learning journeys.
I offer carefully tailored, one-to-one support for children and young people who are feeling frustrated in school, want a strengths-based approach and are ready to discover how their brain works best.
Sessions are structured, calm and designed not only to support academic progress but to help children and teenagers identify their strengths, understand how they learn best and build their self-confidence, agency and empowerment.
Bridge Dyslexia Tuition
Bridge Dyslexia is my specialist dyslexia programme that builds step-by-step literacy skills through structured teaching , while also supporting the broader emotional and social challenges that can accompany neurodivergent student's experience of school .
Bridge Think and Thrive
Bridge Think and Thrive is my bespoke Executive Function programme designed to coach students in the tools and strategies to build a confident approach to learning. This programme is designed specifically to develop positive executive function skills eg:
